Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your booking with Galaxy Holidays, operated by Galaxy Travel Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”). By making a booking, you agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and any additional information provided before confirming your booking.
1. Definitions
- Client: The individual or entity named on the booking.
- Travel Arrangements: Includes flights, accommodations, transport, activities, excursions, and other services we provide.
- Supplier/Principal: Third-party providers of Travel Arrangements, including airlines, hotels, and tour operators.
2. Financial Protection
All flights and flight-inclusive holidays booked through Galaxy Holidays are protected by the ATOL scheme. Upon payment, you will receive an ATOL Certificate. Please ensure that all services booked are listed on this certificate. For more information about ATOL protection, visit the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website.
3. Payment Conditions
- Payments are accepted via Visa and MasterCard. By providing your card details, you confirm authorization for the transaction.
- All transactions are processed securely; we do not store payment information.
- Clients are responsible for any additional charges (e.g., foreign transaction fees).
- If payment is declined, we reserve the right to cancel your booking until payment is successfully processed.
4. Booking Conditions
By making a booking, the first named person agrees that they:
a. Have read and accepted these Terms.
b. Consent to the use of personal data as per our Privacy Policy.
c. Are over 18 years of age and confirm that all travelers meet the age requirements for booked services.
d. Accept financial responsibility for all persons named in the booking.
5. Types of Bookings
(A) Multi-Contract Packages
- For bookings combining multiple Travel Arrangements, we act as the package provider under the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018.
(B) Single Contract Packages
- When booking a package holiday directly with Galaxy Holidays, your contract is with us as the tour operator.
(C) Third-Party Packages
- For packages arranged by other suppliers, we act as an agent. In such cases, your contract is with the Supplier/Principal, and their terms apply.
(D) Single Component Bookings
- Individual services (e.g., flights or accommodations) do not constitute a package holiday. We act as an agent for these bookings.
6. Client Responsibilities
- Clients must ensure all travel documents, including passports and visas, are valid and up-to-date.
- Compliance with health and safety requirements, including vaccinations, is the client’s responsibility.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Client-Initiated Cancellations
- All cancellations must be submitted in writing. Refund policies depend on the specific Supplier/Principal and may include cancellation fees.
Agency-Initiated Cancellations
- We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to unforeseen circumstances, offering suitable alternatives or refunds.
8. Changes to Bookings
- Clients may request changes to bookings, subject to availability and potential additional costs.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Galaxy Holidays is not responsible for losses, injuries, or damages arising during your travel.
- We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, or supplier failure.
10. Travel Insurance
- Clients are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations, medical emergencies, and other unforeseen events.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
12. Amendments to Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated to you in advance.
